Entrepreneur from Roanoke, VA.
Richard has been racing for over 21
years. He has raced in the NASCAR
Weekly Short Track Series, the V8
Stock Car Road Race Series, American
V8 Supercar Series, and the National
Auto Sport Association's Super
Unlimited Class.
Over the years he has set track
records at Charolotte Motorspeedway,
Carolina Motorsport Park, Summit
Point Raceway, and Virginia
International Raceway. In 2008 Richard
won the Super Unlimited National
Championship at Mid-Ohio
Motorsports Park.
Richard owes his racing success to his
team, KJR Racing (Koehler Johns
Racing). The team is made up of his
father Frank, Uncle Bill, son Bo, and
Crew Chief Pete John's whose 15 years
and current position with Hendrick
Motorsports proves to be invaluable
with the level of success that KJR
Racing has experienced.
KJR Racing uses AMSOIL products in
all of their race cars and transport
vehicles. Synthetic lubricants have
been critical to KJR Racing's success,
providing excellent protection and
performance. KJR Racing has never
